NEW LISKEARD, ON — The North Eastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services (NEOFACS) Resource Team hosted an appreciation dinner for foster parents in New Liskeard last month. The event provided an opportunity to thank foster families in the region and to celebrate the holiday season with them.
A sincere thank you goes out to the local community partners who provided donations for the event, which included:
- A turkey and discount on catering from Yves' Prime Cut Meats;
- A gift bag of chocolates for the door prize from Silver Raven Chocolate;
- A gift bag of homemade essential oil items from Essentially Northern; and
- “This is us” handmade wood sign for the “Just Because” Award from December Pine.
NEOFACS is truly grateful for the continued support of the community and acknowledges the extraordinary efforts made by foster parents in opening their hearts and their homes to children and youth.
