The Ontario Centre of Excellence for Child and Youth Mental Health (CYMH Ontario) would like to learn about the experiences of youth and family members in receiving virtual child and youth mental health sessions (for example using telephone or video-conferencing software such as Zoom) during the physical restrictions resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.
This study is being done to understand how the transition of mental health services to virtual care is affecting young people, their families and service providers across Ontario. CYMH Ontario would like to use this information to carefully plan the steps to add virtual care options to child and youth mental health services.
The online survey is open to any youth (12 to 25 years of age) or family members (for children below 12 years old) who are currently receiving services with North Eastern Ontario Family and Children's Services (NEOFACS) and has received services within the past three months, except those in day treatment programs or residential/live-in programs (open until July 31, 2020).
Those who complete the survey will have the opportunity to participate in a weekly draw of a $25 gift card.
