Community Clinic Day in Timmins
Hands is offering a free, one-day intensive Community Clinic Day in Timmins on October 29, 2022, from 9 am to 5 pm, for families of children and youth with Autism or those looking for more information about services.
They will be offering behaviour therapy consults, speech language pathology consults, case coordination consults, and seminars throughout the day.
They will also have an Open House for families to come visit the site, meet the clinicians, grab some snacks and mingle!
- One-on-one consultations
- Learn about key topics in Autism
- Learn about strategies and supports
- Help in navigating and applying to the Ontario Autism Program
- Gain valuable resources
- Make connections with other families
Note that all families with or without an Autism diagnosis are welcome as well as families from across the region.
Schedule:
- 9 am - Foundations of Communication Seminar
- 11 am - Zones of Regulation Seminar
- 1 pm to 3 pm - Open House: Join us for a tour, prizes, refreshments, and kids' activities!
- 3 pm - Transition to Adulthood Seminar
- 5 pm - Challenging Behaviours Seminar
