A Children's Mental Health Week activity
Mark your calendars for May 6!
The Hearst - Kapuskasing - Smooth Rock Falls Counseling Services, Conseil scolaire de district des Grandes Rivières (CSDGR) and North Eastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services (NEOFACS) have come together to bring Stéphane Richer, a former Montreal Canadiens player and public speaker, to discuss mental health and topics related to mental health.
The lecture for the general public is free and will be held at Hearst High School on May 6 at 7 pm.
The lecture for middle and high school students will also be held at Hearst High School on May 7 at 9 am. Please note that a mental health intervention team will be on site on May 7 to support students who would like to discuss further following Mr. Richer's presentation.
