About Our Agency

Located in Northeastern Ontario, serving the Districts of Cochrane and Timiskaming, our head office is located in Timmins with district offices in Kapuskasing and Kirkland Lake, along with branch offices in Cochrane, Englehart, Hearst, Iroquois Falls, New Liskeard, North Cobalt, and Smooth Rock Falls.

We currently employ approximately 325 employees in various roles including, but not limited to, child welfare, child and youth mental health, youth justice, prevention, legal, and administrative positions. NEOFACS is designated under the French Language Services Act (FLSA) and, as such, provides services in both English and French. Learn more about our programs and services.

Student Opportunities

Student Placements

NEOFACS is pleased to accept student placements under the supervision of our professional staff. Student placements are welcomed in all of our service and administrative programs.

Please contact our HR department by email at humanresources@neofacs.org and provide the following information:

  • A copy of a current resume and cover letter identifying the programs of interest for placement opportunities
  • The name of your high school, college or university
  • The start and end date of the requested placement

Summer Student Employment
