What is Flora’s Walk?

During the month of May, walks are held across Canada to raise funds for perinatal mental health services in local communities and to honour the memory of Flora, a Canadian mother who tragically died due to undetected and untreated postpartum psychosis.

What’s especially unique about Flora’s Walk is that 70% of funds raised by teams stay in local communities to help organizations involved in perinatal mental health work in Canada.

Every dollar counts and your donation will make a real difference in someone’s life.

Support Our Team’s Local Impact!

From now until May 31st, our agency's team, “Flora’s Walk for Brighter Futures”, is fundraising for the North Eastern Ontario Children’s Foundation to support local perinatal mental health programming.

Whether you can give a little or a lot, every bit helps bring us closer to a brighter future for those in need. Your support is greatly appreciated and together we can make a lasting impact.

Access our CanadaHelps.org Team Fundraising Page.

So why does this matter to us?

It's simple. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive—no matter their circumstances. We have seen firsthand how programs like those offered by Brighter Futures can have a lasting impact, and we are committed to helping raise funds to ensure this work continues.

Our Brighter Futures program is dedicated to providing life-changing support for those in need, empowering individuals and communities to build stronger, healthier lives. Whether it’s funding prenatal and postnatal groups, providing essential resources, or offering emotional support, Brighter Futures plays a pivotal role in giving children 0-6 years the best possible start in life.
