Learn the four basic steps to recognize persons with thoughts of suicide and connect them with suicide helping resources.
Only 30 spots available.
When: Monday, October 22, 2018, 1:00-4:30 p.m. (PD day)
Who: This half-day training is available to anyone 15 years of age and up to 24 years old who wants to help prevent suicide.

Learning goals and objectives
Over the course of their training, safeTALK participants will learn to:
- Notice and respond to situations where suicide thoughts might be present
- Recognize that invitations for help are often overlooked
- Move beyond the common tendency to miss, dismiss, and avoid suicide
- Apply the TALK steps: Tell, Ask, Listen, and KeepSafe
- Know community resources and how to connect someone with thoughts of suicide to them for further help
