FINANCE CLERK
Twelve (12) Month Full-time Contract Position in Timmins
The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating processes and completing a diverse range of moderately complex accounting transactions. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, Payroll Duties, Accounts Payable and Receivable Duties, Purchasing and Travel Duties. This position is cross trained to provide full backup to other Finance Clerks.
JOB REQUIREMENTS (QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS):
• College diploma in Business – Accounting, with minimum two years experience working in an accounting role will be considered.
• College diploma in Office Administration may be considered with a minimum of three years experience working in an accounting role.
• Experience in computerized accounting software programs.
• Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and use of own vehicle.
