MEDIA INVITATION
You are warmly invited to attend and participate in North Eastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services (NEOFACS) Snowman Awareness Campaign taking place throughout our communities the week of February 11, 2014.
This unique winter public awareness campaign is snowballing into a great way to raise awareness about the critical shortage of volunteers and foster family’s right here in our community. NEOFACS staff, foster parents and volunteers hope that you will join in the building of 300 snowmen. Currently NEOFACS services almost 300 children through Foster Family and Volunteer Services.
The campaign will kick off in Kirkland Lake, February 10th with an official welcome and introduction to the campaign, followed by snowman build. Throughout the week, similar builds will take place in all of our communities. Foster Family and Volunteer representatives will be on hand to answer any questions or provide information. Complimentary hot chocolate from our generous sponsors will keep you warm.
