Today is Bell Let’s Talk Day!
This year marks the 15th anniversary of Bell Let’s Talk Day, which shines a spotlight on the growing youth mental health crisis in Canada. Since its launch in 2010, Bell Let’s Talk has partnered with more than 1,500 organizations providing mental health services across the country.
Until midnight tonight, January 22, 2025, Bell will match every $5 donation made to support youth mental health in Canada. 100% of the proceeds will go to six incredible youth mental health organizations: Integrated Youth Services, Jack.org, Kids Help Phone, National Association of Friendship Centres, Strongest Families Institute, and Youth In Mind Foundation.
This year, Bell Let’s Talk has launched a nationwide multimedia campaign, Together, let’s support youth mental health, emphasizing the urgent need for youth mental health supports and calling Canadians to action with the powerful message: We can’t let this be their future.

Newly Redecorated Client Rooms – A Youth-Led Initiative
In recognition of Bell Let’s Talk Day, we are proud to share an exciting project update from within our agency.
Building on the success of a pilot project completed in 2023, we expanded our initiative to create welcoming, unique, and comfortable spaces for children and youth. We are excited to unveil a video showcasing the newly redecorated client rooms in Englehart, Hearst, and New Liskeard!
These vibrant spaces were co-created by youth and adult allies in 2024, guided by feedback to create more welcoming environments for delivering mental health services.
A Special Thanks
This project was made possible thanks to generous sponsorship funding from Bell Let’s Talk and local support from the Hearst Castle Co-op and the Hearst Rotary Club, who contributed additional supplies.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the youth who contributed to the success of this project, as well as the staff members who provided support and guidance throughout the process. Their dedication and commitment to making a meaningful change were essential to the project's success!
See the Transformation
To view the progress and final looks of each room, we invite you to watch the video montage showcasing the incredible transformation. The final results are truly remarkable!
This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to improving services for children and youth across all our sites, as outlined in our 2022-2027 Strategic Plan.
Stay tuned for updates on the room makeovers in Cochrane, Iroquois Falls, Smooth Rock Falls, and F.W. Schumacher.
Together, let’s continue to create real change and support the mental health and well-being of children and youth in our communities!
